Dr. Eduardo Sandoval Jr.

Medical Director

Dr. Sandoval Jr. graduated from the Texas Tech School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas, where he developed a strong foundation in clinical medicine and patient care. He went on to complete his postgraduate training years (PGY-1 and PGY-2) in General Surgery at two distinguished institutions—Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, and the University of Connecticut (UCONN) in Hartford, Connecticut. This early surgical training provided him with extensive hands-on experience in acute care, procedures, and complex clinical decision-making.

He later completed his Family Medicine Residency at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, Arizona, where he strengthened his skills in comprehensive, full-spectrum primary care. Following residency, Dr. Sandoval pursued advanced training through a Fellowship in Emergency Medicine at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe, Louisiana, allowing him to further refine his expertise in urgent and emergent care.

Dr. Sandoval Jr. is proudly board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Board of Physician Specialties in Emergency Medicine, and the American Board of Wound Management. His diverse training and multiple board certifications reflect his commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care across primary care, emergency medicine, and wound management.

Dr. Sandoval Sr. graduated from the University of Cd. Juarez School of Medicine, where he built the strong clinical foundation that has shaped his career. He later earned a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration from the University of Phoenix, further expanding his expertise in healthcare leadership and organizational management.

Throughout his professional journey, Dr. Sandoval Sr. has held key roles across multiple areas of medicine and public health. His experience includes working with the Public Health Department for the City of Austin, where he contributed to community health initiatives and population-based care. He also served in the Research Department at Texas Tech University in El Paso, gaining hands-on experience in both Internal Medicine and General Surgery research.

With more than 20 years of dedicated experience in clinical research, Dr. Sandoval Sr. brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and commitment to advancing patient care and medical innovation.

Rosy Sandoval

Clinic Director

Mrs. Sandoval graduated from the University of Chihuahua with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, building a strong scientific foundation that has guided her diverse and accomplished career. She has held several notable professional roles, including serving as the Lab Director at the Institute of Imaging CDJ, where she oversaw laboratory operations and quality standards. Her experience also includes working with the Internal Medicine Research Department at Texas Tech University, contributing to important clinical and academic research initiatives. Additionally, Mrs. Sandoval has been part of respected organizations such as Integreview Investigational Review Board and Advarra Clinical Research, where she gained extensive knowledge in regulatory compliance, ethics, and clinical trial oversight. Her breadth of experience reflects a deep commitment to advancing scientific research and supporting high-quality patient care.

Gaby Sandoval

Clinic Manager

Although Gabrielle’s professional background is rooted in dentistry, she is thrilled to bring her knowledge and administrative expertise to the NBTX Medica team. Over the years, she has gained valuable experience in a variety of administrative roles—including treatment coordinator, insurance coordinator, and marketing manager—most recently at Next Level Orthodontics right here in New Braunfels. Gabrielle is excited to apply her strong organizational skills, patient-focused approach, and passion for community care as she supports the continued growth and success of NBTX Medica.

Celeste Rodriguez

Medical Assistant

Celeste is a dedicated medical assistant with 13 years of experience, known for her friendly attitude and natural ability to make patients feel comfortable and cared for. Born and raised in the same community she now serves, Celeste brings a personal touch to her work, building trust through compassion, clear communication, and genuine connection. She is committed to supporting both patients and providers, ensuring every visit feels welcoming, efficient, and reassuring.

Deborah Ybarra

Medical Receptionist

Deborah has a true heart for service, bringing over 15 years of experience in the medical field to her work. She began as a data entry clerk at a nonprofit clinic and later worked in bookkeeping for a private practice, where she discovered how much even small acts of assistance—like helping with phone calls or paperwork—can mean to patients. Always willing to go above and beyond, Deborah builds genuine connections and believes that it’s the little things that make the biggest difference in patient care.
